Why did you tell us the date and what not?
Liable that your dual-core processor does not support hyper-threading, which is my educated guess. Most dual-core processors that have hyper-threading are “seen” as 4 cores in Windows 7.
I really did some performance testing on disabling the prefetch, and you’re right on. It’s really better to leave the prefetch enabled.
If you only have 4 GB of RAM or less, let Windows choose how huge your paging file should be in that case. Set it to “Auto” and you should be just fne. Thanks!
and if im at 4 gigs of ram what should i set my paging file at?
btw disabling your prefetch in anyhow your slowing down your browsing that’s what saves the browsing history and makes your browsing quicker
